Everyday, I will try to scour the internet bringing you the top gossip stories about Arsenal. I also try to add a bit of humor to spice it up.
Here are the top gossips for today:
- Arsenal are expected to make a new offer for Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney over the coming days, having had two previous bids for the 22-year-old Scotland international rejected according to Sky Sports. I have no idea of what’s making the deal take so long. Come on guys, we are not paying 250 million. It’s just 25m FFS. Pay up. Stop dithering. Or do we need to send Sead Kolasinac over to Scotland?
- According to The Sun, representatives of Arsenal have met with their Barcelona counterparts over Phillipe Coutinho. The Sun claimed the Brazilian midfielder was offered to Premier League clubs and we are one of those with keen interest. I say ‘INTERESTING’. Even a blind man knows where we need more bodies, but eh, if that’s what the guys who run the club wants – I’m all for it! I know this story is probably bollocks but it seems our approach this season is ‘You score 10, we score 11’.
- According to L’Equipe, Bordeaux representative met with Arsenal in order to find a way to bring Laurent Koscielny to France. This story makes me sad any time I think about it. It’s quite sad it got to this stage. Koscielny is a 33-year old player who knows his time in the Premier League is up. In as much as I don’t like the way he went about pushing for his move, I can’t deny that the step taken by the club is absurd. A little bit of loyalty towards a man who played through the pain barrier is not too much to ask for.
- Kelechi Nwakali looks to have been released by Arsenal and will now join Huesca. This report by AS is a rather strange one. Nwakali is a talented player who would have set the Premier League alight if given the opportunity. Work permit issues and change of management looks to have rocked those chances. Whether we’ll ever see him in the PL again remains to be seen. For now, we await confirmation from Arsenal.
