Arsenal striker, Olivier Giroud has insisted that he has not for once regretted his decision to remain at Arsenal last summer.
Giroud has had limited game time in the Premier League this season due to the arrival of Alexandre Lacazette.
He could have joined Everton last summer, as he was given permission to talk to the Merseysiders. He was close to joining before changing his mind.
When queried if he felt he has made the right decision, the French striker replied in the negative.
“No, for the moment I am not questioning myself about my future,” he said.
“I am happy at Arsenal and I am fine with the decision to stay because I want to.
“I am thinking that the story between the club and myself is not over and not finished.
“I keep believing in my quality and I keep the faith. I have a lot of objectives with Arsenal and my country so I always try to move forward and keep scoring.”
Giroud is however a doubt for the North London Derby coming up this weekend. According to reports, the striker picked up a thigh injury while on international duty.
He was on the scoresheet when the Les Bleus defeated Wales in an international friendly on Friday. He has now been sent back to Arsenal and it remains to be seen whether he would be part of the party to face Spurs.
