News have been making the rounds in recent days that Arsene Wenger’s right-hand man of 20 years, Boro Primorac is set to leave the club at the end of the season.
According to the reports, the Bosnian Croat coach and a former Yugoslav international will leave to manage Turkish club, Konyaspor in the summer.
The news has been genertaing a lot of attention from everyone with some saying this is indicative of a major shake-up at Arsenal this summer. Manager – Arsene Wenger has however quashed those rumours calling them ‘Fake news’.
Speaking at the press conference ahead of the Premier League game against West Brom this Saturday, Wenger said the story is a total fiction.
“That’s a complete invention,” The Frenchman said. “It’s good today. You say anything and everybody takes it without checking any information. Everybody just takes and takes it and makes a subject. It’s not serious. Fake news!”
Wenger also dispelled rumour of Bellerin’s reported switch to Barcelona. There were reports in Spain that contact has been made between the Catalan club and Bellerin’s people.
On the matter, Wenger said, “No, [that’s not true]. He has just extended his contract. It’s an unbelievable amount of years to go. I believe again it’s very difficult to take these things seriously.”
I agree, Mr Arsene. One doesn’t have to be serious with stuffs like these if one doesn’t want to die young.
