Will Jose Mourinho ever get tired of talking about Arsene Wenger at the slightest opportunity? This is a million dollar question no one will ever be able to answer!
After the pair met again on Saturday, Mourinho was reportedly quoted saying ‘I finally lost to Arsene Wenger’ repeatedly as he left the Conference Room. Mind you, the game ended in a draw. At his Pre-Match Conference on Friday, ‘The Moaning One’ accused the media of not giving him the respect they give Arsene Wenger despite winning the league 18 months ago.
The question then is: How do you respect someone who doesn’t know when to keep his mouth shut or someone who doesn’t respect other colleagues? The answer is simple – They won’t get respected either. It’s the law of karma.
Speaking to ESPN Brazil, ‘The Specialist in Sacking’ said he is under pressure because he has won everywhere he has gone to while Wenger isn’t under pressure despite having not won the league in 12 years.
“I said yesterday at the press conference, the Arsenal manager hasn’t won a championship in 14 years. I haven’t won a championship in 18 months.”
“He, in 14 years, failed to build a team to be champion. I’ve been here for four months. And the demand is only for me and not for others.”
“It must be because of the career I’ve made. Because I got to the clubs and always won right away,” Mourinho added.
The problem though is Wenger last won the title in 2004 and not 2002 as Mourinho claimed. That’s the obvious disadvantage of talking too much. You distort information
This obsession with Wenger is real. Very real.
