Arsenal striker, Chuba Akpom could be loaned out in January with Cardiff, Fulham and Brentford reported to be interested.
According to the Mirror, manager Arsene Wenger wants to give the youngster the opportunity of developing his career further in the Championship, hence the loan move.
Chuba Akpom has featured just once for Arsenal this season in the League Cup victory over Nottingham Forest and could have continued to play in the competition if not for his injury.
He is currently the club’s 6th choice striker behind Alexis Sanchez, Olivier Giroud, Lucas Perez, Theo Walcott and Danny Welbeck and even when he returns, it is not sure how he would fit into the team.
Akpom spent last season on loan at Hull City but could be on his way to Brentford – the club he was 2 seasons ago.
