Arsenal secured their first three points of the season with a vintage first half performance against Watford FC. Santi Cazorla converted from the spot to give Arsenal the first goal, Sanchez turned in a Walcott low-cross for the second while Mesut Ozil timely header gave Arsenal the third from a Sanchez’s cross in a blistering 45 minutes. It could have been more though as Watford’s goalkeeper, put in some impressive performances too, saving from Walcott and Sanchez.
Watford Debutant, Roberto Maximiliano Pareyra gave them a bit of hope slamming home from close range after some school-boy defending by Arsenal.
