News of a Serge Gnabry transfer took us all by storm as no one would have imagined that. At one point, there were rumours Bayern Munich were in pole position and might make a big move to sign him and then loan him to Werder Bremen – a move BBC’s David Ornstein confirmed on Twitter.

That however does not seem to be the case as Werder Bremen’s Director of Sports, Frank Baumann debunked all claims Bayern Munich will have an influence on the transfer in a conference. This was again confirmed later by David Ornstein who apologized for the earlier misinformation. See tweet below:

Bremen Sports Director, Frank Bauman claimed personal terms have been agreed with the player and they are still in talks with Arsenal. He expects the deal to be confirmed by tomorrow.

See tweets below.

Serge Gnabry has a year left on his contract with Arsenal and might leave for free next summer if he doesn’t extend. Arsene Wenger expects to keep the player though and we wait to see how that pans out.
