Arsenal youngster, Dan Crowley will join Oxford United on loan for the 2016/2017 season, the club has announced.
The 18-year-old joined Arsenal from Aston Villa in 2013, but, although he has featured for the first-team in friendlies, he is yet to make a competitive appearance for the first team.
He was also sent to Barnsley on loan last season where he made 13 appearances scoring once.
A regular with Arsenal’s under-21 side over the past two seasons, he has also represented the club in Europe in the UEFA Youth League, and captained the Gunners’ FA Youth Cup side.
Last year, Dan went on the pre-season tour to Singapore with the first team and appeared in the win over Singapore Select XI.
“Seeing how young players flourish under the manager Michael Appleton was a massive part in my decision,” the teenager told BBC Radio Oxford.
“Last season was a learning curve and I can’t wait to get started.”
Good luck, Dan
