Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez scored twice as Chile booked their place in the Copa America quarter-finals.

The Panamanians were featuring in their first-ever Copa America – the centenary of the competition being played in the United States of America – while Chile are the defending champions.

Panama took a shock fifth-minute lead through Miguel Camargo but Eduardo Vargas struck twice to give Chile a deserved half-time advantage.

Alexis scored his first and Chile’s third with an absolute worldie and his 2nd of the night which happened to be Chile’s fourth was via an header.

Well done Alexis, but don’t forget you need to rest. A quarter final exit wouldn’t be too much to ask for, is it?
